Terms and Conditions
1.0 Introduction
1.1 Welcome to Shoreline (UK) Limited. These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) govern the sale of our refrigeration products and related services. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.
1.2 These Terms are in accordance with UK consumer laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and other relevant legislation. Your statutory rights are not affected.
2.0 The supplier
2.1 Shoreline (UK) Limited is a registered company in England with the company registration number 4470995. Our registered address is 16-17, Martello Enterprise Centre, Courtwick Lane, Littlehampton, West Sussex BN17 7PA, England. All correspondence should be directed to this address.
2.2 We can be contacted at office@shoreline-uk.com or by phone at 01903 733877. Our business hours are 8:00-4:00 Monday to Thursday, 8:00-2:00 Friday.
3.0 Placing orders
3.1 When placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring that the products ordered meet your requirements in terms of specifications, options, and color. Shoreline (UK) Limited does not accept returns of goods that are not damaged or faulty, except as outlined in Section 4.0.
3.2 By placing an order with Shoreline (UK) Limited, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
3.3 All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse any order if the requested goods are unavailable or for any other reason, without liability.
4.0 Order cancellations
4.1 You have the right to cancel your order at any time before a confirmed delivery date free of charge.
4.2 Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your products without providing a reason. This right applies only if the goods have not been unpacked, assembled, or used, and are in a re-saleable condition. A re-saleable condition is defined as an appliance in its original packaging with no signs of use. The 14-day cancellation period begins the day after you receive the goods.
4.3 If you cancel your order within the 14-day period, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. We will refund your payment, less a 15% re-stocking charge which contributes towards the inspection, re-testing and repackaging of the the returned appliance. This will be completed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods in acceptable condition.
4.4 To cancel your order, please contact our customer care team at office@shoreline-uk.com with your order number and cancellation request.
5.0 Description of goods
5.1 While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of descriptions, specifications, and advertising on our site, the information provided is for illustrative purposes only. Actual product specifications may vary.
5.2 Shoreline (UK) Limited makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of the product information, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the products meet your requirements.
6.0 Payment and price
6.1 The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time of placing your order. This includes VAT but excludes UK mainland delivery charges, which will be indicated at the time of ordering.
6.2 Payment must be made in full prior to dispatch. We accept payments by credit card, debit card, Paypal, Klana or BACS.
6.3 All prices include VAT at the prevailing rate and are subject to change without notice. Any pricing errors on our website will be corrected and communicated to you before confirming your order.
7.0 Delivery
7.1 Delivery within the UK Mainland typically takes 3-5 working days from the date of order receipt. However, delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Shoreline (UK) Limited will not be liable for any loss, cost, damage, charge, or expense caused by any delivery delay.
7.2 All deliveries are made by a third-party courier and require a signature upon receipt. Appliances are shipped on a pallet and delivered to the doorstep or goods-inwards only.
7.3 Upon delivery, you must inspect the goods for any visible damage. If the goods are damaged, refuse delivery, and inform the courier to return the goods to Shoreline (UK) Limited.
7.4 Any internal damage not visible at the time of delivery must be reported in writing to our office within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to do so may result in our inability to address the damage claim.
8.0 Receipt of goods
8.1 Upon receipt of the goods, you are responsible for checking the condition of the consignment and noting any apparent damage on the delivery note. Any damage should be reported immediately to our customer care team and the delivery should be refused.
9.0 Damage notice
9.1 You must unpack and inspect all products for damage within 48 hours of delivery. If any damage is discovered, you must notify us in writing within this time frame. Claims for damages reported outside of this 48 hour window may not be accepted.
9.2 To report damages, contact our customer care team at office@shoreline-uk.com with your name, order number, and details of the damage.
10.0 Faulty goods
10.1 Goods that are received as faulty will be repaired or replaced with the same model within a reasonable time frame, subject to availability. If a replacement is not available, a full refund will be issued or an alternative like-for-like model upon agreement.
10.2 Faulty goods must be returned to our facilities for inspection at our cost. Appropriate shipping arrangements and instructions will be provided by Shoreline (UK) Ltd. Goods must be in their original packaging with all accessories and instructions included, missing items on return will be chargeable to you.
11.0 Guarantees
11.1 Shoreline (UK) Limited offers a standard 12-month manufacturer guarantee from the date of purchase. Upon warranty registration (within 28 days of purchase) the customer will be entitled to an additional 12-month guarantee and a further additional 12-months parts only guarantee. 11.2 Faulty items may be returned to Shoreline (UK) Limited or arrangements will be made for the collection and repair at our expense.
11.3 Repaired faulty items will be returned to you at our expense.
12.0 E.&O.E.
12.1 Shoreline (UK) Limited makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of our published information. However, errors and omissions may occur, and we reserve the right to correct these.
13.0 Legal rights

14.0 Governing law and jurisdiction
14.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
